Uriel's Tower
Blurb:
Uriel's Tower is a choice-based story of you helping a boy escape a tower. The challenges, however, come from several issues such as the "Tower" having a bit of a terrible history and seemingly a tendency to shift as it sees fit, and the "Boy" being quite the eccentric little lad. By that I mean, the Tower is "alive", the "boy" may or may not cause the end of all things, and "you"... well all you can really do is listen, observe and advise. Gain the boy's trust. Keep him safe. And by the end, decide his fate.
Untitled
Blurb:
A short horror story based on the old Tikbalang tales my Lola used to tell me.
Excerpt:
"Mama, mother dearest, I love you lots and lots. So would it kill you to *please* look away from the stupid tree and back at my papers, pretty please?" I sighed, turning my head from the window to face her. How was she mine again? "My daughter dear, would it kill *you* to stop calling the tree stupid like a little child?" "You called me a child literally just now, Mama. And last I checked, even if what's-his-face isn't here, I'm pretty sure I still came out of that big ol' tummy." She points at my stomach for emphasis, my teacher's blouse creasing in between the folds above and at the sides. I sighed again, much to her amusement. She nearly even tips her plastic chair back a smidge too much, saving herself from a fall on the faculty room floor at the last second. Not that that would humiliate her, of course. It would probably only feed into another round of hysterics. The other teachers, while keeping to themselves, are not so subtly hiding their own little snorts and smiles from her antics. *This is your daughter. She will bring you joy.*
