Blurb:
a deeply insecure girl named ellie goes with her best friend to a gulf island to get and about for the summer. the thing is, the island has almost no wifi, and a really rambunctious group of kids (including a cute boy.) the kicker? no one goes by their real name. ellies friend chooses whiskey jack for her, and she goes out and lives, fo what feels like the firsst time in her life. elie wouldnt fall in love, especially not with a guy just as chubby as she was. ellie wouldnt go cliff jumping. ellies best friend would never hide a secret romance from her. ellie would never get a dog, or ditch er diet, or party too hard, or camp with no adults, o disrespect her mom, or question their gender identity. but maybe whiskey jack would.
