Wednesday's fingers danced across the keys, as the rain pounding against the window, trying to drown out the clacking sound. However, a third sound from across the room made her fingers pause. Enid's whimpers started to drown out the rain, until the first crack of thunder turned them into a full-blown whine. A lurch in her heartbeat dragged Wednesday from her chair, then across the room, a brief flash of lightning causing her to wince, before the second boom echoed through the room. "Does the sound trouble you lobita?" Enid nodded, the whine still keeping from her throat. "Even though you could feel it coming?" Another nod. "... Fascinating."
