I am so excited to start this challenge, but I feel a little daunted knowing how much is ahead of me and also that I have no ideas except the vaguest desire for a gothic romance. Any help??

That's fun! What part of the gothic period do you want to explore? What romantic bent do you want to examine?

Maybe it's too cliche, but: vampires. I still love a gothic vampire romance! Or if you're not into supernatural... nah, sorry, my brain is only spitting out other supernatual creatures 😂

ah, well - I know that with day three into the challenge, you might already have your idea, but - I agree with Bethany, and suggest vampires, I just like them ... :D ... not to mention that you can do so much things when working with them ...
