does anyone else here like word/writing sprints? i always forget how helpful they are to me. now, the writing that comes out of them usually isnt quality, but at least it gets me going.

Sprints! I decided to make that my strategy to steer comfortably through 30 days of writing!

One of the features on my to-do list for the site is 'live word sprints', where you can join at a prescheduled time, enter your wordcount at the end, and then see a leaderboard with everyone who participated. Is that something that would be useful? Or do you prefer to sprint alone, with more control? And how long do you usually sprint for?

Bethany, i'd absolutely love a live sprint feature! one of the most motivating things about them to me is the competition.

funnily enough, while I love the challenge of writing 50k, I actually have incredible performance anxiety and the idea of a word sprint just absolutely locks me up and makes me unable to do anything haha. It's a very useful thing for those who can handle it though
