Some love Christmas, some love Halloween, some even love Easter, or thanksgiving if you're in that part of the world... I'll take NaNo month. I look forward to it all year. This year I will be attempting to write a fantasy style enemies to lovers story. We'll see how well that goes. My first day is almost over, there's 2 hours left until midnight. I will probably write a little bit more, but in case I forget to make a post later, I will add my word count for the day here. Day 1 word count: 3882 Not too shabby!

Day 2 was a little less productive than day 1, I will admit. I reached my goal for the day, but only beat it by a little bit. I woke up with a headache that wouldn't go away until mid day, after which I got sidetracked by playing a game called Dressmaker. Cozy gamers might be familiar with that title, it can take over your life. I tried to write after that, but I just couldn't find the concentration, so I went for a long shower and some relaxing self care, turned on some ambient music, and managed to get some words onto paper. Not sure if I am pleased with the words, but at least they exist. Day 2 word count: 2058 Slowly but surely.
