Hey, I'm Liz, no cats but six lap chickens, and I've failed nanowrimo at least three times before. Me and Nanowrimo are old enemies, but now its dead I think I stand a chance. My strategy involves incentives: Reedsy for the cash prize, Trackbear for the stat dopamine, and this site for social accountability. I'm not exactly sure how social accountability works (forum bragging? sharing stuff?) - so any advice is appreciated. Also, thank you Bethany for making such a pretty and functional website :)

Lap chickens πŸ“πŸ˜„ I have a framed picture of my mother cuddling her 2 polish hens, chickens are underrated! I too have failed nanowrimo at least 3 times before. But I have won it at least twice! Everytime is just as hard though. And thankyou, I'm glad it's functional so far!

Hi! I've failed nano pretty much every year I try it (except once!) but every year I write at least small pieces of things I am proud of, so it is worth the struggle! Someday I would like to have chickens, but I love my cats and they are great company when writing. Good luck to everyone!

I say every attempt is a success. Best wishes on your projects this year!
