But sometimes I find that a mouse is living in my car... so I should get a cat. My fear is that the mouse will poke its little head out and stare at me sometime when I'm heading down the highway and I'll drive off the road..... my name is Vistara - I'm in Alberta Canada - always wanted to do the nano and of course the year I decide to do it it no longer exists (!) but happy to join in with the rest of you. My plan is to do something like a fictionalised memoir as someone else mentioned.... and I'd like to experience the joy of blathering on for 50,000 words

hi!! i definitely agree that you should get a cat if you have space for one in your house and home. two, even. trust me i'm extremely unbiased <- lie goodluck this november!

Be warned: cats instinctively chase and catch mice, but they do not necessarily eat mice if they weren't taught how by their mother. So... my cat sometimes catches things, brings them inside, and lets them go. Most recently she caught a lizard, but I managed to save it and let it go outside!
