I'm Jennifer. I have had this idea for a middle grade book rolling around my head for almost a decade. And I just have this feeling that if I don't get it out, I won't really be able to move forward. I also am famously averse to finishing things, so I am starting with this in honor of my daughter who inspired it. And will probably be done with college before I get this done unless I buckle down. I know people look down on childrens books, but isn't that where we all started? Happy to be a part of this project.

Haha, hopefully if you end up with grandchildren you'll be able to share it with them! And absolutely, children's is such a unique market. It has so much influence on the reader compared to adult novels -- it's an honour.
