A shiny motorcycle, delicious sourdough, plentiful plants, Herculean feats of strength and endurance ... of all the great houses of midlife crisis, where do I find myself? I like to think I took a very creative variation of the last one. Making an attempt at writing with essentially no skill or practice quite honestly seems just as perilous as taking up skydiving when you fall over standing on flat ground. That's me. Who am I? Well that's the very same question I ask myself repeatedly. Who am I... to suddenly decide to try my hand at writing? Who am I... to write a novel, especially in a month? Well, if we are going to be traveling this uncharted territory together I suppose we might as well get better acquainted. I'm Alicia and I write as Ania. My dream is to weave magic and history, a magistory? Whatever you might call it, join me in a magical realm set alongside a real life lake town to uncover history as neither you nor I (even though I'm the one writing it) have ever known before. Who is the lady of the lake and how did the lake come to take the form of a mermaid? Where exactly did the Bray Beast come from and where did it get its fearsome reputation? Who knows? Only the pages found here might reveal these and more secrets of Willowmere.

Sounds like a plan ๐Ÿ˜‚ The good thing about the challenge is that once the month is over, you will have absolutely had the practice!

Yes! Very excited to see what (mis)adventures might lie ahead, as well as looking forward to the community here.
