Hello everyone! You can call me Moss. I'm a long-time writer, but a first-timer in this particular writing challenge (including NaNoWriMo). I have ADHD and, although I'm starting a little late, I'm hoping this challenge will have the structure necessary to motivate me to actually write lol. The project I'm working on this month is a fantasy villainess isekai in which the main character is trapped in a death loop. I'm not sure if I'll ever publish this story since it uses a lot of Eastern tropes and might not be popular with Western audiences, but they do say to write for yourself. Maybe if I'm proud enough of it when it's finished and edited, I'll decide to try to get it out there, who knows? I have four cats, and I live with my mom to help her foster kittens!

hi moss! goodluck this month, from a fellow adhd-er. that's not meant to sound fatalistic or anything! no hidden meanings, genuinely lol, goodluck. nanowrimo has been something i've been trying at for years, some years its done wonders for my productivity and some years it hasn't. i will say that the structure has consistently been a great help, regardless of how the challenge itself went all the different instances. i love a good death loop story, i'd love to hear more about it. and like you never know, anime, manga, vocaloid, etc, lots of eastern media is super popular rn over in the west, so maybe it'll take off! though truly, what you said about writing for yourself is the best way to look at it i think. what are your cats' names?

Good luck to you too!! I just realized I miscounted in the original post, I actually have five cats. The cat who's "mine," since she bonded to me is named Olive, she's a black cat with yellow eyes. We've had her for years and she's an old lady by now but still manages to look like a kitten. We also have Sookie, a calico, and Dexter, a brown tabby, and those two act like a married couple. The newest additions are Archie, another black cat with yellow eyes and Odin, a long-haired gray cat with one eye. Archie and Odin are both foster failures but they're great additions to the pet family, they're both sweethearts (although Odin is still a kitten, so he's a little insane lol).

omg that’s adorable 🥺🥺 give them all pets for me !!! i have one cat, his name’s pepper. he’s mostly white with black markings. he has two brothers who were orange but i wasn’t able to keep them :( ive had pepper since he was a kitten, i even had to feed him kitten formula. my family also has a dog named cody, who is large and kind of dumb but it ain’t his fault.
