Everyone's been super lovely far, but I just wanted to draw your attention to a simple 'code of conduct' which you can find in the drop down menu, or at https://www.novel-november.com/moderation/code-of-conduct . It also goes through the moderation system/safety approach I've put in place. "Iterative development" means listening to the community and making constant improvements, so if you have anything you think needs to be changed, please let me know. Also, please point out the typos. I'm in drafting mode πŸ˜…

And when I say make improvements, I don't mean just tweak the wording. I can build new functionality directly into the website, although more complicated features might take me a few days or even a couple of weeks.

Might be the wrong place to mention it, but I can't see a way to edit posts? I am using my phone, so perhaps it's different on a desktop - it's just as someone who always makes typos, it's helpful to be able to edit! πŸ˜„

Not at the moment. I was on the fence about whether to implement it or not. I (really, really) empathise with the typos, but I was worried about people being abusive etc. then going back and editting it before moderation could happen. For this month at least, I'm making us all live with the typos πŸ™

I don't suppose I could claim that the lack of an edit button is aligned with the spirit of first-drafting?

Totally understand. I'm a horrible perfectionist - fast typing to get my thoughts out, followed by going back to edit my spelling. And, of course, I miss some fixes, hence the edit button. πŸ˜‚ But online abuse is more important, so I get it.
