In the days running up to Novel November, what do you do? Do you prepare, with specific notebooks, supplies, do you buy a special tea, get a corner set up? Or is it like stepping into a new room - no prep, just enjoying being there? I'm curious as a newbie writer and this being my first ever writing quest.

For me, I have a couple of things I need to set myself up for success: 1. An outline. It doesn't have to be super detailed, but it does have to be complete, as in a full arc with key events that connect logically and resolve nicely at the end. 2. A schedule. I've made goals before, then drawn up a schedule, and realised there were literally not enough hours in the day to do everything I want to. But so long as it's actually possible, I find having a rigid schedule is the best way for me to keep on track.

Thank you! It's my first so - everything. So I can use all the tips, advice, heads up, and help.
