I'm reading the Wrinkle in Time series. I read the first one in middle school and remember liking it. It's one of those books I think doesn't translate well to a movie even though 2 attempts have been made. Idk who said it but someone said they disliked the series and said it was too foofy without enough action. I think his problem was that it was female centric and was more about the sci fi aspects and relationships between characters than it was about shooting laserbeams into space.
Love that series! Talk about a core memory lol. I think it was the first book I read where I felt like the characters were my friends. Definitely looking back its more of a cerebral and theological sci-fi than action, but it does have some of those elements too. It definitely shaped who I am as a person.
